I met Jojo in 2022, while camping at Brickhouse Campground, SC. We have remained friends ever since, camping together in New Hampshire, where I got eaten alive by mosquitoes, and more recently, camping together at Potts Preserve and Lake Dorr in Florida. She is an incredible dog lover, and not too long ago, officially became mom to Trixy, after losing her special Dolly a couple years ago.
Jojo has been most supportive of my efforts to finally publish my children’s books, going above and beyond, reaching out to everyone, looking for an illustrator for me. She has wholeheartedly supported me as I’ve been preparing my website, connecting me with my wonderful web designer. And she has been my mentor, trainer, and primary go-to person while I’m quickly learning the ins and outs of the company NuXtrax, which makes the plant-based supplement called iHeRQles. I swear it has been like mental boot camp, the task master that you are, my friend. I barely survived the steep curve of learning a new computer, Zoom, Facebook, and the company’s website, in addition to my own site. But thanks to you I am smarter and wiser.
When I was overwhelmed after learning the news my mother was in a coma at a hospital in another state in March 2026, Jojo texted me the most beautiful prayer which she wrote in the middle of the night especially for me:
“Dear Heavenly Father, please wrap your loving arms around my sister, Margie. Please give her the peace that surpasses all understanding. She is overwhelmed with moving and all the wonderful things she is trying to accomplish. Lord, you know her kind loving spirit that wants to help people, help her accomplish everything she sets out to do with ease and divine favor. We know you have a good plan for her mother, if it is your will, please heal her and restore her. Lord, you know Margie’s heart, we feel the enemy trying to sabotage her with anxiety and unrest. Please cover her with your protection so she can get restful sleep and heal her body so she can feel better able to handle all the things she needs and wants to do. Thank you Lord for making our paths cross and that we have stayed connected. Thank you for the pure plant molecules and the scientist that you guided to create iHeRQles. May we use it to heal our bodies and our minds and help others to do the same. We come to you with gratitude for all these things and all you are doing in our lives. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.”
